A website dedicated to Addingham a small village in West Yorkshire. Addingham is a picturesque village a stones throw from the Yorkshire Dales.
The village has buildings dating back to the 17th century. Addingham has a long history and is mentioned in the doomsday book referred to as Ediham.
Addingham has many things for residents and visitors. We have a good selection of shops, public houses, places to eat and many other types of businesses.
Addingham is also surrounded by beautiful walks which we will be covering shortly on the site.
We also have a good sporting community with a bowling green and football and cricket teams.

Cyclist Neil Hughes who came off his bike on ice last Saturday 21st December would like to say thank you to the people of Addingham who looked after him until the ambulance came, also kept his bike safe.
Just wondered can you post about how grateful i was last Saturday when i came off my bike in the ice on North St/barke lane! Some kind souls looked after me until the ambulance came, also kept my bike safe. It does prove that there are still people wwho care and that Addingham does have a village camaraderie! I am ok now apart from cuts and bruises and a damaged bike my helmet took the force of my fall.
